Preview/Inspection Days

Typically, the two days prior to the auction are our “official” preview/inspection days, however, you are welcome to browse the yard at any time during our regular yard hours.

Registration Process

All bidders must agree to “Bidder Terms” and must be at least 18 years of age to register to bid.
Vantage Auctions requires the following to bid:

• A Valid Driver’s License or Passport
• No Deposit Required

To Bid On-Line, visit our “On-Line Bidder Registration” page and choose one of 3 platforms available.

Buyer Fees

Buyer’s Premium will apply to each lot purchase as follows:

• 10% for purchase price of $7,499 or less, per lot
• 4.95% for purchase price of $7,500 or more, $750 minimum, per lot

*There is a cap of $3,500, per lot

• 3% Internet Fee of purchase price, per lot

For each titled motor vehicles and trailers lot, a $65 DMV Title Process fee will be applied, as well as a DMV Title Transfer and applicable Registration fees.

Timed Auction – 15% Buyers Premium of purchase price, per lot.

Taxes

At this time, Vantage Auctions is only accepting California resale certificates, California DMV licensed dealers, and Mexican Merchant Cards, as well as the partial exemption for agricultural/farming. Most out of state or out of country buyers are exempt provided they take possession in their own state or country. This means your purchase must be transported by a common carrier with a bill of lading. The common carrier must have valid DOT and ICC/MC numbers and not be owned by the buyer.

Payment

Payment in full is due by 4:30 pm on the first Wednesday following any auction, otherwise your purchase is subject to 18% interest per day.

Titles

Vantage Auctions guarantees free and clear titles for all the equipment and vehicles sold via our live auctions or through our retail store.

Pickup

All purchases must be picked up by the first Friday following the auctions, otherwise a storage fee of $25 per day per lot will be due.

Vantage Auction does have a loading dock, and a forklift to assist with loading of your purchases.
