Territory Sales Representative, Southern California

Vantage Auctions is looking for an outside sales professional to service existing clients and prospect new business in the Southern California marketplace. Experience in the construction, transportation or heavy equipment industry is preferred. Vantage Auctions client base focuses on Contractors, Rental Companies, Fleet/Transport Companies, Manufacturers & Dealerships for securing quality consignments at our auctions. Introduce and sell our services to current and future clients through prospecting, cold calling and account maintenance. This requires someone who is comfortable with both inside phone sales as well as outside sales.

Qualifications:

— Previous work experience in the construction equipment industry is strongly desired. Ideally

— Rental, Manufacture/Dealership type sales positions

— Strong communications and interpersonal skills required

— Ability to accurately appraise equipment

— Maintain a valid, clean driver`s license

— Good Computer Skills

Extension knowledge of the following: Customer Service, Meeting Sales Goals, Closing Skills, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Negotiation, Self-Confidence, Product Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, Motivation for Sales.  Computer Skill Level: Word, Excel, Client Database Management Program.
